Hand back 
Meaning: Return
Sentence: When she read the article and then handed it back.

Hand in

Meaning: Submit report or file
Sentence: All application forms must be handed in before the end of this month.

Hand out

Meaning: Distribute
Sentence: Samples will be handed out at the end of the city police.

Hang out

Meaning: Spend time in a particular place   
Sentence: Where does this killer hang out in this week?

Head off

Meaning: Start to go somewhere
Sentence: He headed off to the railway station.

Hold on

Meaning: Wait or waiting
Sentence: Hold on please, I'll put you through to him.

Hold up

Meaning: Show as a example
Sentence: Sheela helds up the diagram for all to see.

Improve on

Meaning: Make better
Sentence: The children improve on their previous performance.

Join in

Meaning: Participate
Sentence: She was also to join in the game.

Keep on

Meaning: Continue doing to something
Sentence: I told him to be quiet but he kept on making a plan.

Keep up with

Meaning: Stay at the same level as someone or something
Sentence: Mossa walks so fast it's difficult to keep up with him.

Kick off

Meaning: Begin or start
Sentence: The T20 Cricket match kicked off at 09:00 p.m.

Knock out

Meaning: Cause someone to fall unconscious or done
Sentence: Mohammad Ali was knocked out in the third round.

Know of

Meaning: Have heard of or have knowledge about
Sentence: Do you know of anyone else attending the conference?
