End up 

Meaning: Finally reach a state or place or action
Sentence: If he continues his misconduct, he'll end up in prison.

Explain away

Meaning: Find an excuse or explanation
Sentence: Hashem, how are you going to explain away the missing money?

Fall through

Meaning: Fail or does not happen
Sentence: Our planned boat trip fell through because of the heavy storm.

Figure out

Meaning: Understand or find the answer. 
Sentence: I'm trying to figure out, how to submit the money.

Find out

Meaning: Discover or obtain information. 
Sentence: I'm going to call the cinema to find out, what time the movie starts.

Fix up

Meaning: Repair or renovate   
Sentence: We're going to fix up the house before moving in.

Focus on

Meaning: Concentrate on something
Sentence: The advertising campaign will focus on the quality of the product.

Fuss over

Meaning: Pay excessive attention to
Sentence: He's always fussed over her grandmother.

Get about

Meaning: Spread or circulate
Sentence: News of their separation soon got about.

Get away

Meaning: Escape
Sentence: The robbers got away in a blue car.

Get down to

Meaning: Start to actually do something. 
Sentence: It's time to get down to some serious work at home.

Get on with

Meaning: Continue to do something or make progress. 
Sentence: Keep quiet and get on with your homework.

Get over

Meaning: Recover from illness or disappointment
Sentence: Qureshi had the 'flu but he got over it.

Get rid of

Meaning: Eliminate
Sentence: It's difficult to get rid of his old habits.

Give back

Meaning: Return something to its owner. 
Sentence: He promised to give back the money to borrow.

Go through

Meaning: Experience
Sentence: He went through a lot of pain after the accident.
